This past weekend, Deep South High School Rugby Conference/Louisiana High School Rugby team, Bayou Hurricanes out of Raceland, LA, took on Brother Martin of New Orleans. The Bayou Hurricanes are currently sitting on top of the standings for the Conference with a 7-0 win streak, and 5-0 in conference.
The Hurricanes have been known for their speed, and this was evident in this game against Brother Martin. Fullback, Brandon Sanders, showed out this weekend against Brother Martin.

With this elusive speed, it’s little wonder that the Hurricanes won easily, 61-0. Sanders is definitely on a pathway for a nice chance at the national stage. USA Rugby better keep an eye on this kid!
