Tulane University vs Troy University
Tulane recently had a bye week after substantially beating the University of South Alabama.. Troy, on the other hand, is coming off a nice win against south as well. Both teams seem to prove quite competitive this season and should shape up to be quite the match. Troy, as usual, is bringing their strong forward game to the mix. Tulane, although they lost, seemed to of kept up with ULL to a point. With the bye week to sharpen things up, I feel Tulane should do just fine in this match up. Tulane wins 28-14.
University of Louisiana Lafayette vs University of Southern Mississippi
ULL is coming off a monster win against Spring Hill. They took down the badgers 60-0. They have a strong, hard running lock who punishes defenders and a fly half and outside center who can really move the ball and find the gaps in the defense. Southern Miss, on the other hand, has been struggling this season. It seems they have been forfeiting a majority of their games. They still play unofficial games but still lose by large margins. ULL should have no problem taking down Southern Miss this Saturday. ULL with the victory 35-0.
Spring Hill College vs Louisiana Tech University
LA Tech looks to remain undefeated against Spring Hill. They are coming off an easy win against Southern Miss and look to keep that momentum moving forward to Saturday. Spring Hill was dealt a tragic loss on Saturday at the hands of ULL. Missed tackles crippled he Badgers. LA Tech has tremendously improved since last year and has been a real surprise in the conference this year. They have a strong and quick back line that likes to crash the ball especially with their inside center. Spring Hill is looking at this game as an opportunity to show the conference that they are still contenders for the conference title. I am taking LA Tech 21-7.
