D1A/D1AA
Vanderbilt (0-2) @ Tennessee (1-0)
Vanderbilt will travel out Knoxville to take on University of Tennessee. University of Tennessee has had a strong start to the season, coming off big SCRC win over Auburn, 59-5. Look for much of the same for this week with Tennessee taking the win big, 64-0.
Florida (1-0) @ Georgia (1-0)
University of Florida travels down to Athens to take on University of Georgia. Florida took last week by storm debuting with a massive 55-21 win over Mississippi State. University of Georgia took a win over Vanderbilt in a forfeit. On paper, this is a big rivalry game between these two school, but on the field, this game strongly favors Florida. Look for Florida to take this game 35-0.

Virginia Tech (0-0) @ North Carolina (0-1)
Virginia Tech debuts their ACRL against University of North Carolina this week. UNC had a difficult time against Clemson, 68-5. Virginia Tech has played two friendlies so far, with a loss over James Madison, 31-18, and a win over Eastern Carolina, 36-26. Last season Virginia Tech defeated UNC 14-0. While neither of the teams are going to be taking the conference by storm, look for this to be a close game between the two. Expect Virginia Tech to take this one 17-0.
Maryland (0-0) @ Wake Forest (0-1)
Maryland will travel down to North Carolina to take on Wake Forest. Maryland enters into the 2015 ACRL Rugby season, after a winning conference season in 2014, finishing with a 5-1 record. Wake Forest debuted their ACRL season last week against Clemson, losing 89-0. Maryland is poised for another big run at the ACRL title. Expect Maryland to take this game in a big way, 35-5.
Memphis (0-1) @ Kennesaw State (1-1)
Memphis travels to Atlanta to take on Kennesaw State. Kennesaw State is coming off a win over Georgia Tech, 39-17. They rectified themselves after a big loss against SIRC North favorite, MTSU. Memphis came off a tough loss last week against MTSU, 64-16. This will be a tough match between the two teams. Look for Kennesaw State to get another win at home, winning 20-10.
UCF (0-1) @ FSU (0-1)
UCF travels up to Tallahassee to take on Florida State. This will be a battle of the one loss conference teams. The records are a bit misleading. UCF had a surprise loss against USF last week, 14-10. Florida State fell to Florida International, 36-7. Both these teams have quite a bit of talent on their roster. UCF was a little bit thrown back by USF’s aggressive offensive attack in the loss. Florida State was overwhelmed by a massively talented FIU team. Expect this to be a tough battle, but look for UCF to rectify from last week and get the road win, 30-20.

Florida International (1-0) @ USF (1-0)
FIU is the hottest team in the league right now. A team that comes off a SIRC debut against FSU winning big 36-7. USF took the shocking upset win over UCF, 14-10. USF struggled last season, so to open up with a win over I-45 rival UCF, helps to build the confidence of the team. USF will have the home advantage this match, look for USF to sneak one out over a firepower heavy FIU team. Look for USF to win this one 20-17.
Oklahoma (0-0) @ Arkansas (0-0) (F)
I don’t typically do friendlies, but this is a match up that is very enticing. University of Oklahoma is a D1A Rugby team. Oklahoma went 5-0 in league play last season and kicked off their 2014 season with a 60-27 win over Tulsa. University of Arkansas has been a rising program that reached a national debut making the a Cinderella run in the USA Rugby College XVs National Championships that found them in the Final 4. These are tough teams with plenty of talent to work with on the field. Oklahoma will bring a powerful offensive game plan against Arkansas. Expect Arkansas to provide an amazing counterattack. Look for Arkansas to protect their house and take the win in this friendly, 17-12.
