With the announcement of the PRO Rugby League of America and a new effort to create professional Rugby in the United States, you can’t forget the other efforts that have been done. The WRFL was trying to break ground before the International Rugby Board even sanctioned the sport to be fully professionalized. Though the climate for the reception of rugby has changed, you can see that the heart of the sport has stayed the same for all these years.
