After another exciting weekend of Rugby Union across America, here are the scores from across conferences and divisions. In Men’s Collegiate play, BYU fell to Saint Mary’s 27-12 in non-conference play. Cal Poly took on Santa Clara in California, and Cal Poly took the win 50-19. Claremont beat Long Beach State 22-19, and San Diego State defeated Arizona 30-12. Fresno State defeated San Francisco State 69-0, and Chico State won versus San Jose State 29-5. Navy took on a double header this weekend versus Clemson and Glendale. Navy walked away with both wins, defeating Clemson 15-10 and Glendale 40-17. Armstrong State took on Morehouse College in a conference match up, with Morehouse ultimately winning the match 20-15. Life University faced off against Arkansas for the historic Huckaby Cup, and shut out Arkansas 57-0 in regulation. Central Florida defeated their neighbors in South Florida 23-21, meanwhile Florida International fell to Florida State 31-12. Kennesaw fell to MTSU 24-12 in a conference game, while Baylor took the victory over Oklahoma 27-10. TCU took on Texas A&M in College Station, and fell to A&M 79-12. New Mexico Tech traveled to El Paso to take on UTEP, and left with a visiting win 33-22. Texas A&M Central fell to Sam Houston State 29-25, and Midwestern State played forfeit to Abilene Christian University.
In Women’s Collegiate action, Clemson defeated GSU 50-32 at home in conference competition. Life took on Raleigh in a game of defensive wits, ultimately winning on two penalty kicks 6-5. Kennesaw State was victorious against Georgia Tech 120-0, and Coastal Carolina beat Elon 70-5. Virginia Tech furthered their record against ECU, taking a win 46-27 at home. Stanford won away at Chico State 24-12, while Tulane defeated Spring Hill College 48-0. In Senior Women’s competition, the Dallas Harlequins won at home against the Austin Griffins 42-5.
Men’s Senior Division was busy this past weekend, with various match ups and cross conference games. In Texas, the Austin Huns D1 side defeated the Austin Blacks D1 45-14. In a clash of the D2’s the Austin Huns fell to the Blacks 43-26, and the D3 Austin Blacks defeated the Huns D3 53-5. The Dallas Reds took on the Dallas Harlequins in both a D1 and D2 matchup. In D1, the Reds defeated the Harlequins 33-12 while the D2 Reds swept the Harlequins 79-0. Abilene took on Grand Prairie, and lost 80-12 in regulation time. Boca Raton defeated Miami 31-5 in conference action, and Glendale won big over New Orleans 59-5.
