Mississippi State vs. South Carolina

This is the match of the SCRC West champs, Mississippi State and the defending champions and SCRC East Runners up. Mississippi State has been the surprise team this year. Going 5-1, with their only loss coming against University of Alabama in a close 41-40 match. South Carolina is the defending Southeastern Rugby Conference champions. They are looking to be the first repeat winner, as they attempt to make their third championship finals. South Carolina coming in 5-1 are looking to be a dominate force today. First round starts at 1pm EST/12pm CST.

Tennessee vs. Alabama

University of Tennessee is coming into this match as the SCRC East champions, and the only team to go undefeated this season (6-0). Tennessee won the SCRC championship two years ago, but failed to make the playoffs last year. Under proper guidance of a veteran squad, they managed to bring the 2014 team together under a unified mantra of teamwork, and dominate this season. University of Alabama is entering into this championships with a 4-2 record, with losses to Auburn and South Carolina. Alabama is looking to prove they belong as the SCRC West runner up, and show the conference the meaning of Tide Rugby.
