LSU will be playing in two different tournaments this weekend. They will be taking their collegiate 7’s team up to Knoxville for the Knoxville 7’s tournament. They will also be putting their 15’s team to work at the Battleship 15’s tournament. They should have a decent outing this weekend.
2. University of Louisiana Lafayette – DII – Deep South Rugby Union

Next Matrix Match – Nov. 9, 2013 – vs. University of South Alabama, @Battleship, AL (postponed game); Deep South Rugby Champioonship – Nov 10, 2013 – vs. Troy University, @Battleship, AL
ULL is coming off a strong performance against Troy University with the 57-12 win. They will be heading into this weekend with the rematch against Troy University for the Deep South Rugby Union Championship game. This will be the game for the top spot in the Deep South. ULL this time will be entering the game nationally ranked #22 this time, over an unranked Troy.
3. Loyola – DIII – National Small College Rugby Union

Loyola is coming off a 53-3 win over Alabama this past weekend. They showed how talented they have as a team. The closer their regular season is getting, the stronger their team has been getting. We expect them to bring a lot of power to the NSCRO when their matrix season starts in the Spring.
4. Louisiana Tech – DII – Deep South Rugby Union
Last Matrix Match – vs. Tulane, @Ruston, LA (W 24-13)

Louisiana Tech was able to solidify their spot on our rankings with a head to head win over Tulane this past weekend. Louisiana Tech has had a very up and down season, but they have shown a lot of growth as a young team. They will have a lot to work with going into next year.
5. Tulane – DII – Deep South Rugby Union
Last Matrix Match – vs. Louisiana Tech, @Ruston, LA (L 13-24)
Next Matrix Match – TBD
Tulane concludes this season on a low note. They have not had a lot of success this season. They are still a well maintained program. They will need to rebuild for next year and relaunch.
