Major League Rugby Team Adds Rugby World Cup Captain To Coaching Staff

Rugby United New York (RUNY) announced on Wednesday that Tiffany Faaee would be joining the coaching staff of the upcoming Major League Rugby team.



Faaee will not only be part of the newest professional rugby team in New York, but she is making history as the first woman to coach a professional rugby team in the USA .



Faaee, a New Zealand native, has been a deep fixture in the USA rugby community for years. She helped Captain the USA Rugby womens 15s side to a fourth place finish in the 2017 women’s Rugby World Cup in Dublin, Ireland. She also won a Women’s Premier League Rugby National Championship with the New York Rugby Club in 2017.


Faaee will help lead RUNY to victory this weekend against the New England FreeJacks in a preseason friendly on December 1, 2018 at 12:00pm CST/1:00pm EST shown live on Next Level Rugby YouTube Channel
