Shreveport (1-2) at Fort Worth (1-2)

Shreveport will be traveling to Fort Worth this weekend. It’s been two weeks since either team has played a game. Each of these teams are coming off opposite sides of the spectrum. Fort Worth is coming off a win over Oklahoma City, 17-7. On the other side, Shreveport is coming off a big loss against the top ranked Little Rock Stormers, 38-10. Both teams only wins have come against the Oklahoma City Crusaders. Shreveport has been shown to be a better offensive team, but Fort Worth has elements of being a better defensive team. Neither teams are ranked high in either categories in the Union. Despite this toss up, look for Shreveport to take the win in this close game.

Memphis (1-0-1) at Knoxville (0-1)

Knoxville will be opening their spring season this week against Memphis. Knoxville has had only one game under their belt in a major loss against defending True South Champion, Chattanooga. Memphis is coming off a tie game against Nashville last week. A game that showcased Memphis losing the lead in the last 5 minutes of the game to end with a draw. Knoxville is known to be tough at home, and Memphis has yet to show what they can do against a better matched opponent. Look for Knoxville to take the win in this match.

Hopkinsville (0-2) at Chattanooga (2-0)

Chattanooga will starting their Spring season as well. Hopkinsville has just not shown little ability to stop scoring offenses. Chattanooga is simply too powerful at all positions to have this be a match. Look for Chattanooga to run away with the win on this game.

Jackson (0-2) at Baton Rouge (1-0)

Baton Rouge will be hosting Jackson this weekend. Jackson will be playing their third game this spring season. Baton Rouge will be opening their first matrix game of the season. Jackson has struggled in each of their Rugby matches this spring as they’ve played against stiff competition. Look for this trend to continue against a tough Baton Rouge team who is looking for another top finish in the True South South. Baton Rouge is returning a tough back line, and powerful Pack. Look for Baton Rouge to take the win at home over Jackson.

Birmingham (2-0) at Battleship (0-2)

Birmingham will be traveling to Mobile, AL to take on Battleship. Birmingham has show spectacular play in their play this season with wins over Jackson and Montgomery. Battleship has played tough this season, losing games by only a penalty kick. Battleship is still yet to find a way to close games out. Unfortunately Birmingham is too powerful of a team to find that out against. Birmingham will take the powerful win over Battleship this weekend.
