On July 15th, Miramar, Fl will be hosting the Rugby Americas North Super-week featuring the RAN Men’s U19 International Tournament and the Women’s 10s International Tournament. This will be the second consecutive year that the south Florida city will be hosting the tournament.
The Men’s U19 International tournament will be featuring the USA Rugby South A, USA Rugby South B, Jamaica, Cayman Islands, Bermuda, Trinidad & Tobago, Turks and Caicos Islands, and Mexico. Last year, the USA Rugby South U19 took the championship with a win over Mexico, 25-10, and will look to defend their title again this year.

The largest returning element for this tournament is the Women’s 10s International Tournament. It was added to the event for the first time last year, and had resounding success. The USA Rugby South Women were able to take the championship in a nail biter over Trinidad and Tobago, 31-22. The Women’s 10s is a great feature for the tournament to showcase the growing women’s rugby talent in the region, while providing a platform for women in the USA and the countries in the Caribbean to develop their skills competitively.
