As the cold fronts are arriving across America, rugby is only heating up! Here are your collegiate scores for Men’s and Women’s rugby across the nation.
Men’s D1A
In Big 10 action, Indiana defeated Ohio State 41-36. Purdue saw a victory against Iowa 59-19, while Illinois took the win against Michigan 22-14. Wisconsin ran away with the win against Michigan State, 51-26.
Across the way in the Liberty Conference, Iona defeated UMass 32-17. Fordham beat Fairfield 37-17, while Albany topped Colgate 34-10. Binghamton slammed Syracuse 38-0, and Northeastern dominated UNH 78-17. Cortland won against Brockport, 28-14.
In Rocky Mountain Conference play, Air Force fell to Colorado State 57-27.
In Rugby East action, Army defeated Kutztown 51-32. Penn State annihilated Buffalo 98-17, meanwhile Navy beat Notre Dame College 32-25. Notre Dame College saw action again Sunday, ultimately falling to Wheeling Jesuit 39-37.
In Red River fixtures, Texas Tech took a solid win on the road against Wyoming 22-14. Texas A&M fell to UNT 39-33, and LSU defeated Tulane.
Women’s D1 Elite
In exciting play, Quinnipiac defeated Central Washington 29-24. Life defeated Queens University of Charlotte 44-0, while Lindenwood beat Penn State 55-24.
Men’s D1AA
In the Chesapeake Conference, James Madison took the win against Mount St. Mary’s 26-19. Mary Washington slammed Virginia Tech 57-10, while Salisbury held off Towson 25-10.
In Ivy League action, Harvard decimated Cornell 141-0. Brown tied with Penn 29 all.
In the SCRC, Tennessee beat Alabama 36-27. FSU blew out UNF 20-0.
In MAC action, Ohio beat Miami 26-15. Boston College handled Tufts 41-12, and Western Michigan blew away Northern Illinois 61-0.
Women’s D1
In the NIRA Conference, Army faced off against Navy in an annual rivalry guaranteed to be entertaining. In a one sided effort, Army sank Navy 60-7.
Men’s DII
In the Deep South Conference, finals underway versus East and West contenders. In the East, Loyola took the win over Spring Hill College 26-19. In West play, Louisiana Tech won by forfeit over UL-Lafayette.
In the Lone Star Conference, Angelo State pulled a solid win against Midland 112-35. Abilene Christian took a victory against Prairie View A&M 14-10 after inclement weather stopped the match one half in.
In the Rio Grande Conference, UTEP fell 38-31 to the Juarez Gallos. NMSU fell to the El Paso Scorpions in a cross town friendly 38-0.
