As another weekend of exciting Rugby comes to a close across the United States, here is your weekend score report.
Men’s Collegiate D1A
In the Liberty Conference, Iona defeated Fordham 63-17. Cortland saw a tight win over Rutgers 41-33, meanwhile Binghamton thumped Albany 41-3. Syracuse beat Colgate 46-14, and Delaware defeated Stony Brook 38-19. Rhode Island took a solid victory over Fairfield 40-15, and UConn defeated UMass 36-17.
In the Big 10, Indiana took down Iowa State 36-29 and Michigan topped Purdue 22-20. Michigan took a solid victory against Illinois 38-10, while Wisconsin beat Minnesota 84-10.
In Rocky Mountain Conference play, Air Force struck down New Mexico 48-15. Elsewhere, Utah beat Colorado State 42-12 and Utah State prevailed over Wyoming 56-12.
Women’s Collegiate D1 Elite
In the Women’s D1 Elite, Life University emerged victorious over Central Washington 22-15. Penn State defeated Notre Dame 15-5 amidst rainy conditions.
Men’s Collegiate D1AA
In the Heart of America Conference, Kansas thumped Oklahoma state 49-0. Nebraska blew out Truman 75-5, and Missouri beat Kansas State 30-24. Last but not least, Iowa State annihilated Washington U. 90-0.
In Chesapeake action, James Madison defeated Towson 25-23 in regulation time. Mary Washington ran a successful campaign versus Maryland 55-26, and Mount St. Mary’s saw success against Georgetown 56-26. Lastly, Salisbury won their fixture versus Virginia 52-31.
In Ivy League play, Brown defeated Princeton 36-5. Dartmouth saw an impressive victory over Penn 36-5 as well, and Yale smashed Cornell 90-0.
In Mid-Atlantic action, Villanova topped Temple 43-17 while Rowan beat West Chester 27-17. Saint Joseph’s won over West Virginia 60-14, and Lindenwood-Belleville defeated MTSU 63-12.
In the SCRC, Auburn fell to Georgia 20-17. Kentucky utterly thrashed Mississippi State 99-19, while South Carolina blew out Florida 65-0.
Over in the MAC, Ball State was forced to cancel their fixture versus Ohio. Western Michigan hammered Central Michigan 91-5, and Louisville defeated Dayton 35-15. Lastly, Cincinnati beat Miami 31-26.
Women’s Collegiate D1
In NIRA play, Dartmouth beat Princeton 57-0. Quinnipiac beat AIC 60-22, and UNE beat Sacred Heart 48-17. Harvard smashed Brown 83-8 in regulation time.
In the Pacific Mountain Conference, Chico State handled UCD 28-0.
