Furthering its mission to offer higher level opportunities for it players, coaches and supporters, USA Rugby South expands its senior playing squad for two games against Life University on November 6, 2016.
The Panthers welcome Pro Rugby players Matt Hughston and Cameron Falcon into the expanded squad. Hughston, a past Panther captain, spent the spring season with the Ohio Aviators while Falcon, from New Orleans, joins the Panthers after a season with the Sacramento Express.
An additional Panther team creates a larger pipeline of players challenging for positions in the spring Rugby Americas North (RAN) competition and it also means additional coaching opportunities. Morrision Tavana, with experience in the French Top 14 and Pete Redmond of Augusta, GA join the coaching ranks with returning assistants Francesco Balsas (Atlanta Old White) and Renaldo Arroyo (Valdosta State U) under Head Coach Rene Daniel (USARS).
