USA South Panthers To Compete At Savannah Tournament

Striving to build higher level rugby for its players, coaches and supporters, USA Rugby South will field two teams for the Savannah St. Patrick’s Day Tournament. This marks the third time the Panthers have presented two teams on a single weekend of competition. There are 20 clubs represented in the squad.

The pipeline of players that USA Rugby South is building will benefit from an association with Tiger Rugby for the Savannah Tournament. Tiger Rugby is a USA Rugby sanctioned Olympic Development Academy with numerous Eagles coming through their program. Joining our South coaches will be Tiger coach, Nese Malifa. Nese, a 15’s and 7’s Eagle and a member of two past Rugby World Cup squads, will assist in back line attack.
