As Summer left and Fall appeared, Rugby paid no heed and played on across the country. Here are your scores from this weekend’s Collegiate Rugby action!
Men’s D1A Collegiate
In the Red River Conference, Texas Tech pulled off a successful campaign versus University of New Mexico 29-26. Texas A&M saw a big win over Arkansas 50-7, while TCU beat UT Dallas 36-17. LSU won their match against LSU Alexandria 25-10, and Oklahoma took the win against Iowa State 42-17. Baylor dominated Texas State 79-12. New Mexico saw a victory over neighboring UTEP, 38-19.
In the Liberty Conference Delaware defeated Rutgers 45-15, while Iona dominated Stony Brook 62-14. Northeastern defeated UMass 37-17, and Colgate topped Brockport 34-17. Last but not least, Syracuse defeated Albany 52-5.

In the Rocky Mountain Rugby Conference, Utah Valley defeated Air Force 56-29. Colorado State beat Utah State 52-10, while Colorado topped Wyoming 31-25.
Across the way in Rugby East, Army got ambushed by Notre Dame College in a loss of 31-26. Kutztown found a solid win against Buffalo 48-17, and Penn State defeated St. Bonaventure 61-23.
Women’s D1 Collegiate
In the NIRA Conference, Dartmouth took down Army 45-7. Quinnipiac stood strong against Penn State, winning the day 36-27. Sacred Heart took a tough loss to Bowdoin 41-36.
In the Big 10, Davenport slayed Michigan 124-5.
In Ivy League play, Cornell fell to Yale 34-25 in regulation time. Brown saw a loss versus Norwhich 45-31, but Princeton won versus UMBC 27-22. UPenn defeated Columbia 55-34.
Men’s D1AA Collegiate

In Chesapeake play, Mount St. Mary’s won a nail-biter versus Virginia Tech 28-24 to start out the weekend. Salisbury hammered Georgetown in a decisive 53-7, but Towson saw a loss to Maryland 41-37. Mary Washington saw a massive blowout win versus Virginia, the score reading 88-0 after eighty minutes.
In Ivy League fixtures, Yale slammed Columbia in a 76-0 victory. Brown won big against Cornell 75-10, meanwhile Dartmouth prevailed over Harvard 53-12. Princeton clawed their way to victory against Penn 27-25, and Lindenwood-Belleville defeated Notre Dame 35-21. Later that weekend Lindenwood-Belleville played Davenport, ultimately losing said fixture 44-26.
In the Mid-Atlantic Conference, Pitt defeated IUP 31-25 in a second half comeback. Temple squeezed out a tough win against Rowan 19-17.
In the SCRC Conference, South Carolina beat Alabama 34-15. Ole Miss saw a big loss to Florida 50-7, and Tennessee defeated Georgia 34-20.
In MAC play, Miami defeated Dayton while Louisville topped Ohio 28-22. Bowling Green had a successful campaign against Western Michigan 29-15, and AIC shut out UNH 93-0.
