On Thursday, World Rugby released their official documentary on the late Mark Bingham. If you’re not aware of who Mark Bingham was, he was one of the passengers on the Flight 93 Airplane during September 11, 2001. He was among the passengers who fought off the plane hijackers, and prevented the plane from potentially crashing into the Capital Building.
Bingham was also a rugby player who happened to be gay. He has been commemorated for his bravery all over the rugby community, including having one the largest All-Inclusive Rugby Tournaments named after him in the Mark Kendall Bingham Tournament, aka The Bingham Cup.
The documentary continues to shed further light into his life, speaking with families and friends alike. Definitely a good sit down to look into the life of an incredibly brave, and courageous man.
